Our school · Our community

Rooted in Scott’s Pass. Rising through every generation.

Since 1966, Scott’s Pass Primary & Infant School has helped children begin with confidence, grow through hard work and carry a spirit of achievement into the wider world.

The 60th anniversary is more than a birthday. It is a year to gather the school’s history, reconnect alumni and diaspora, celebrate educators and families, and shape a practical legacy for today’s learners and the community around them.

From the planning table

The celebration is being built in community.

These working materials capture the early meetings, community outreach and shared language behind the 60th-anniversary programme.

The capital legacy

From a resource centre planted in 2006 to a campus built for possibility.

Twenty years after planting its first Community Resource Center at SPPIS, SourceEnergy Foundation is committing to lead a collaborative effort to expand that resource and mobilise a school-approved campus transformation anchored by a Sportsplex.

Community learning

Resource Center expansion

Develop a stronger home for learning support, digital access, youth development, community programmes and intergenerational service.

  • Needs-led programming
  • Safe and inclusive access
  • Clear operating responsibility

Campus wellbeing

Sportsplex & campus master plan

Explore a phased school and community asset that supports physical education, sport, wellbeing, events and resilient campus use.

  • Feasibility before design
  • School and authority approvals
  • Funded maintenance plan

A promise with guardrails

Every stage must earn the next.

  1. 01Listen and document needs
  2. 02Complete baseline and feasibility
  3. 03Secure school and authority approvals
  4. 04Finance and deliver in phases
  5. 05Operate, maintain and report
What this commitment does—and does not—mean

It establishes a partnership direction and a disciplined route to a deliverable project. It does not represent planning approval, a final design, secured construction finance, a procurement award or permission to build.

Final scope, ownership, safeguarding, procurement, operations and maintenance must be agreed with the school and relevant authorities before implementation.

A personal homecoming

SourceEnergy’s partnership begins where its founder began.

SPPIS was the infant and primary school of SourceEnergy Foundation founder Dr. Oliver E. Jones. That personal bond now meets a public commitment: listen first, govern well and build a legacy the school can sustain.
